Lockton Insights Event – Beyond the claim
Lockton Insigts Events
Beyond the Claim:
Building a Unified Psychological Injury Support Strategy that Spans HR and Injury Management
On behalf of, the NSW Workers Compensation Self-Insurers Association and Lockton invites you to an exclusive members-only event focused on developing a cohesive, organisation-wide approach to psychological injury management. By aligning HR and Injury Management functions, employers can build a coordinated framework that enables early intervention, ensures legal and regulatory compliance, and fosters workforce wellbeing and operational resilience.
Delivered in partnership with Hall & Wilcox, Gair Legal, and inTalks Mediation & Coaching, this session will offer practical insights into designing integrated support systems that meet employee needs while advancing organisational objectives.
Proposed reforms to the NSW Workers Compensation scheme are expected to restrict access to statutory benefits for psychological injuries. As entitlements narrow, the onus on employers to proactively manage psychological health in the workplace will grow significantly.
To prepare for these changes, organisations should assess whether their current systems effectively support employees experiencing psychological illness, regardless of claim status or whether the condition is deemed work-related.
